Indian Guides kickoff party:
The Lake Prairie Indian Guides and Princesses host a 2014 kickoff party on Sunday, Sept. 14, from 1 to 4 p.m. at Independence Grove Forest Preserve's North Pavilion, Buckley Road east of Milwaukee Avenue, near Libertyville. The free event is open to Lake County families with children ages 4 and older, and family and neighbors are welcome. The event includes family fun, a DJ and dancing, Gaga Ball and bounce houses, picnic food, drinks and treats and games and activities.
