Garth and Trisha knock down pins at Kings bowling alley in Rosemont

Country music superstars Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood visited a bowing alley in Rosemont's entertainment district after Brooks' Thursday night show at the Allstate Arena.

The husband and wife stopped by King's in MB Financial Park to knock down some pins, have some drinks and nosh on ginger wings, stuffed mushrooms, beef skewers and pulled pork sliders, according to a public relations representative for the bowling alley.

Yearwood bested Brooks in the first game 92-85.

Before leaving, the pair autographed bowling pins for Kings to put on display.

Brooks is wrapping up an 11-concert schedule this weekend in Rosemont, where he launched his world tour Sept. 4. The 52-year-old has been largely absent from the music scene the last decade and hasn't performed in the Chicago area for 17 years.

Yearwood has joined her husband onstage during the concerts and performed some of her own hits.

"I'm madly in love and can't spend a day without her," Brooks said Sept. 4 at a news conference before his first show. "She's more talented than I am. And she has more Grammys."

Officials have projected attendance of 200,000 at Brooks' shows in Rosemont. His remaining schedule includes shows at 6 and 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
