Two suspects walked into the restaurant, announced they were robbing the business, and sometime during the incident, shots were fired, according to Dan Ferrelli, a spokesman for the Aurora Police Department.

Three male employees were hit by gunfire -- two of whom were critically wounded. All were taken to Aurora hospitals for treatment, Ferrelli said.

Two persons of interest were in police custody late Thursday, and police are following up on leads, he said.
