Republican family picnic Sept. 14 in Busse Woods

The Northwest Suburban Republican Family Picnic 2014 will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14, in Busse Woods, Grove 27, in Elk Grove Village.

Political candidates Bruce Rauner, Jim Oberweis, Larry Kaifish, Jim Moinahan, James Piezonka, Bob Dold, Mel Thillens and Tim Schneider have said they will attend.

Tickets are $10 per family in advance and $25 at the event, and include hamburgers, hot dogs, brats, corn, ice cream, beer, pop, water, petting zoo, bounce house, face painting, police K-9 demonstrations and WW II Polish Army Historical Association demonstrations.
