Bite attack at Lollapalooza leads to charges

A 33-year-old Chicago man has been charged with tackling a man and biting him on the arm and biting another on the shin at Lollapalooza.

The Cook County state's attorney's office said Sergio Vicenteno is charged with aggravated battery. He has not entered a plea. Vicenteno's attorney, Michael Gillespie, did not immediately return a call.

The state's attorney's office says a man watching the Arctic Monkeys play at Lollapalooza on Aug. 1 was tackled. When a friend, 29-year-old Ben Lenet, tried to help, the attacker bit him on the shin, authorities said. The attacker then bit the man he tackled on the arm, authorities said.

Lenet says another friend kicked the attacker, who got up and calmly walked away.

Lenet says he now faces AIDS testing, though he believes the risk is very small.
