Sponsored by Glen Ellyn Park District, the Jazz in the Park series usually features one concert a month from June through August, Assistant Superintendent of Recreation Services Jeannie Robinson said. This year's June concert was rained out.

"It's a good concert, the guys put on a really good show and they pretty much play for the two hours straight," Robinson said.

Special guest jazz singer Janet Planet also is scheduled to perform.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and a picnic, but alcohol is not allowed.
