Animals to visit library

A fruit bat, a sloth and other unusual animals will visit the Vernon Area Public Library on Monday, Sept. 29, as part of a program for kids and adults. “Unique Animals” will be presented by the Flying Fox Conservation Fund. The program starts at 7 p.m. and is open to kindergartners or older children who have adults with them. Admission is free but registration is required. To register, visit vapld.info. The library is at 300 Olde Half Day Road, Lincolnshire.
