One way to block Russian aggression

If the U.S. wants to reduce Russia's ability to blackmail European nations to not stand up to her aggressions in Ukraine and elsewhere, we ought to sell European nations some of our natural gas.

Doing that would free European nations to act responsibly and would curtail Russia's sale of natural gas. Revenue from those sales is an important part of Russia's economy.

There is no pipeline between the U.S. and Europe, but there are at least 370 LNG (liquefied natural gas) ships. We export and import natural gas today, while we develop the gas and oil fields in north central U.S. We could be delivering U.S. natural gas to nations in Europe in short order.
