North Aurora police seek man who exposed self to child

North Aurora police are investing a case of public indecency and disorderly conduct involving a man approaching an 11-year-old girl Thursday.

Police said the girl was approached about 6 p.m. by a man in a car near Western Drive and Sterkel Road. The man asked the girl for directions to two locations. She was unable to answer.

Police said the man fondled himself while in the car and continued to ask the girl sexual questions.

The girl ran off and the man drove south on Western Drive.

The suspect is white, average weight to heavyset, has short hair, and a mustache and beard that are reddish-brown. He was wearing a navy-blue baseball cap and sunglasses. The car was tan and had four doors.
