Woodland Elementary District 50 has introduced a digital tool, known as a dashboard, to monitor and communicate district goals to the public. "The purpose of creating a district dashboard is to provide the public (taxpayers and website visitors) with data and information about the district in a clear, visual format," said Board President Mark Vondracek. "Information presented will include key up-to-date district information." The dashboard, https://www.dist50.net/db/Site%20Pages/default.aspx, will feature information regarding the district's strategic plan, student achievement, finance, human resources, communication, discipline, operations and facilities and technology. Current Web technologies already in use for the district website allowed for a neutral cost to host and maintain the dashboard.
