Children's event at Navy museum

Great Lakes Naval Museum hosts a "Float Your Boat" activity for children starting at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The free event will allow children an opportunity to learn about buoyancy, ships and how things float, and then design and make their own pie-plate boat. All craft supplies will be provided.
