The Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 school board has appointed Tracy Griffin Langlais to succeed Brian Kaszewicz as assistant principal of Buzz Aldrin Elementary School in Schaumburg. Langlais has been a teacher at John Muir Literacy Academy in Hoffman Estates since 2011. Previously she worked for four years at Bronzeville Lighthouse Charter School in Chicago and for two years as a Teach for America Corps Member. Kaszewicz last month was named the new principal of Hale Elementary School in Schaumburg.
