Mundelein-area residents are invited to meet the new superintendents of Mundelein High School District 120 and Mundelein Elementary 75 at an informal Meet and Greet on Tuesday, Aug. 5. The event is 6 to 8 p.m. in the Mundelein High School Media Center, where refreshments will be available. Both men began their new leadership positions this summer. Kevin Myers is the superintendent of District 120. He replaced Jody Ware, who retired after six years as superintendent. Myers previously was superintendent of Streator High School District 40 for five years. Andy Henrikson is the superintendent of District 75. He replaced Cynthia Heidorn, who retired after nine years as superintendent. Henrikson was previously an assistant superintendent in Lake Forest School districts 67 and 115. The event will allow residents to speak informally speak with the new district leaders and hear about their plans for the future.
