N. Chicago walk to benefit Honor Flight
The North Chicago Community Days 2nd Annual 5K Family Fun Run & Fitness Walk at 8 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 2, will benefit Lake County Honor Flight. Based in North Chicago, Lake County Honor Flight raises money to send local veterans to Washington D.C. to visit their memorials. Runners meet at 1730 Lewis Ave., North Chicago, for packet pickup and on-site registration starting at 6 a.m., Aug. 2. For information call (847) 710-6621 or visit northchicago.org.
