Ribfest comes to a satisfying end for barbecue lovers

Rib lovers had a lip-smacking, finger-licking good time on the last day of the 2014 Naperville Ribfest.

Among them was Jaime Guzman and his nephew, Joel Arriaga, who said they couldn't choose just one or two rib vendors out of the dozen available at the 27th annual edition of the fest.

"We are going to try them all," Guzman said.

Others, like Lance Firnsin of Westchester, stuck with a known favorite.

The annual fest is sponsored by the Naperville Exchange Club, which donates proceeds to help in the elimination of child abuse and domestic violence.

Besides riches of ribs, the festival included a carnival, musical acts on two stages and lots of activities for adults and children.
