Man suffers minor injuries after getting hit by car in Arlington Hts.

An 89-year-old man was hit by a car in Arlington Heights Friday afternoon, authorities said.

The pedestrian suffered a minor elbow injury in the collision on the 100 block of Vail Avenue about 3:40 p.m., Arlington Heights Fire Department Battalion Cmdr. Bill Kidd said.
