Mr. Cub, Ernie Banks, made the cover of Sports Illustrated's annual 'Where Are They Now?' issue, which comes out this week.

SI writer Rich Cohen takes a look into what made Banks a household name. While Banks failed to win was a championship during his 19 seasons with the Cubs, he earned 2 MVP awards, and 11 All-Star appearanced. His outlook on winning and relaxed approach to life, however, established him as a valuable lesson to all, and resonates just as positively with Cubs fans today, Cohen writes.
