Summer Place presents '9 to 5'

The Dolly Parton musical "9 to 5" will take center stage in July as The Summer Place's second show of the 2014 season.

The Naperville community theater group will perform the show at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays from July 11 through July 20 in the auditorium at Naperville Central High School, 440 W. Aurora Ave.

The show will be directed by Bradley Baker.

The musical is based on the 1980 hit movie by the same name. Pushed to the boiling point by their supervisor, three female co-workers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical man they call their boss. They conspire to take control of their company and learn there's nothing they can't do - even in a man's world.

Tickets are $17 for adults, $14 for students and seniors and $10 for kids ages 5 through 12. For details, call (630) 355-7969 or email boxoffice@summerplacetheatre.org.
