Let's stop and think before we act
If I ruled the world, (or America or Illinois), whenever any politician opened his or her mouth to propose a new law or idea, he or she would have to explain and prove why "this is good for America" before any discussion or news proliferation could begin.
That being said, perhaps 4,600 dead American young men and women, 36,000-plus injured American young men and women, thousands upon thousands of dead and injured Iraqi citizens, and billions or trillions of our tax dollars spent would not have to be explained.
