The Arlington Heights Memorial Library will be launching the village's first "One Book, One Village" program later this summer.

The library will host a big reveal at a special Arlington Heights library-card holders event on July 26, said Deb Whisler, director of communications and marketing.

Everyone at the kickoff event will get a free copy of the book, she said.

Following the reveal of the book, the library will host a number of events including book discussions in the fall and a visit from the author in October.

Readers should stay tuned to the library's website www.ahml.info for more information as plans are announced.
