Town-size embassy deserves concern
Regarding the summertime music from Dock's in Wauconda, I have to drive five hours to my Michigan rustic retreat for that pleasure. If you're lucky enough to live on the lake, you're lucky enough!
For pity's sake, if you hate summer and music, close your windows, crank up the A/C and sleep.
Of more concern to me is the over 5,000 employees (plus dependents) at the embassy in Baghdad. While I struggle to pay taxes, we are paying for a small town in a country who could not care less about our sacrifice and bloodshed and freedom, served up on a silver platter.
That embassy population is larger than my small town in Michigan. Have we all lost our marbles?
