This is celebrating Flag Day?

On Flag Day, June 14, this year, I decided it would be appropriate to finally replace my old faded Old Glory with a bright new American flag I had acquired a few years ago.

As I was attaching it to the pole, I saw a very small tag at the bottom of the flag which I had not noticed before. The three words on the tag gave me pause. They read "Made in China."

Now it's hard to be parochial in this day and age when it's often impossible to find certain things that are NOT made in China. But a flag - an American flag? Really?
