Harper College this month will offer an exclusive sales leader breakfast aimed at helping participants capture business, build sales teams and secure new buyers.
Sales expert and guest speaker Nancy Bleeke will outline the skills leaders need to build a high-performing sales team and the drivers behind sales performance.
The event will run from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday, June 26, in the Wojcik Conference Center on the college's main campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road in Palatine. Bleeke is the author of "Conversations that Sell" and the founder and president of Sales Pro Insider, a firm that focuses on sales training.
Drawing on more than 20 years of sales experience, Bleeke has a background in human resources and holds an MBA.
Since launching her own company in 1998, she has dedicated her career to training professionals and managers to increase their sales abilities. Her book "Conversations That Sell" was awarded the Top Sales and Marketing Book award from Top Sales Magazine in 2013.
A free networking breakfast will be offered to attendees until 8 a.m. Tickets for the Sales Leader breakfast are $35; each attendee will receive a copy of Bleeke's book.
