Residents of state House District 51 who wish to turn in an old U.S. flag and exchange it for a new one may bring their used flag to the district office of State Representative Ed Sullivan now through Tuesday, July 1. Sullivan's office is sponsoring the flag exchange program for the sixth year in a row as a way to provide district residents with the ability to properly dispose of their old flags and to obtain a new U.S. flag to display or keep at their home or office. The program is free to district residents while supplies last. The office is at 700 N. Lake Street, Suite 101, Mundelein, or contact legislative aide Jean Smuda at (847) 566-5115.
