Deer jumps through office window in Roscoe

ROSCOE - Police in the northern Illinois village of Roscoe say a deer jumped through a real estate office's double-pane window.

Police say it happened Thursday night at Dickerson and Nieman Realtors in downtown Roscoe. Roscoe Police Sgt. Aaron Weber says police "looked through the window and there it was looking back at us." He says they called the office owner and "who opened up the door, and the deer took off."

Weber tells the Rockford Register Star that the deer didn't appear to be injured.

Roscoe is in Winnebago County, about 10 miles north of Rockford.
