Winning pitcher Anthony DeLaurentis held No. 4 CL South to 3 runs (2 earned) on 8 hits and a walk and struck out 8, and Daniel Kubiuk went 2-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI to lead Barrington (26-9). Josh Smith took the loss for the Gators (16-15), who were led offensively by Garret Bright (2-for-4) and Michael Avella (double). Barrington advances to Saturday's regional final against the winner of today's semifinal between No. 2 Jacobs and No. 3 Cary-Grove.
