Plant sale helps summer reading

Thank you to everyone who supported the Friends of the Town & Country Public Library's 11th annual Flower and Plant sale May 9 and 10. This event was held inside the library at 320 E. North St., Elburn.

We appreciate the support of our community making this the most successful flower and plant sale ever. Varieties of flowers and plants included geraniums, Gerbera daisies, tuberous begonias, petunias, ivy, coleus, spikes, sweet potatoes and more.

The proceeds from this event makes it possible for the library to continue to provide excellent programs and services for all ages including the summer reading program, "Paws to Read," beginning June 2 through Aug. 8.

The Friends are a volunteer-driven organization.
