Cubs-Cardinals game postponed

ST. LOUIS -- The St. Louis Cardinals game against the Cubs has been postponed due to rain.

The game will be made up on Saturday, Aug. 30, as part of a day-night split doubleheader.

The teams split the first two games of the series. The Cardinals won 4-3 Tuesday night when pinch hitter Greg Garcia was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the 12th inning and the Cubs won 17-5 on Monday.
