The Grant senior got his ninth home run of the season to lead the Bulldogs to a 7-2 win over Prairie Ridge. It was a 3-run homer.

Simeon Lucas added a double and Nick Heidenthal was 2-for-2 for Grant (18-6). Winning pitcher Eddie Kusiak went four innings and did not allow an earned run.

Warren 6, Highland Park 4: Josh Tharpe and Matt Burch each had 2 hits for Warren, which improves to 18-9-1. Tharpe had a double, as did Andrew Hill. Ben Dinter added a 2-run homer for the Blue Devils while pitcher Scott Gordon got the win.

Grayslake North 8, Lake Forest Academy 0: Pitcher Sean McHugh upped his record on the mound to 7-2 in leading Grayslake North to the win. He went 5 innings and allowed just 1 walk. He also struck out 4 batters. Ryan Gross led the Knights' offense with 2 hits.

Cary-Grove 11, Lakes 0 (5): Lakes couldn't get on the scoreboard and managed only 2 hits in dropping to 13-10 on the season.
