Deputy voter registrars sought

Tenth Congressional District Democrats is seeking Lake County Democrats to serve as deputy voter registrars authorized to register voters. Deputy voter registrars are appointed by political organizations, trained in a nonpartisan way by the county clerk's office and tasked with registering voters. To become a deputy voter registrar, a person must be: registered to vote in Lake County; at least 18 years old on Election Day; sponsored and attend one 45-minute training session. For Lake County voters, training will be available in Waukegan and Libertyville, afternoons and evenings, in May, June, and July.
