LJ Austin homered and knocked in 3 runs, and Tyler Pauly went the distance on the mound, as Stevenson's baseball team defeated visiting Wauconda 6-1 in a North Suburban Conference crossover Thursday.

Sam Harris tripled for Stevenson (11-9), while Joey Morris and Illinois Wesleyan-bound Mitch Goll doubled.

Wauconda (7-14) got a double from Kyle Harmon.

Lake Zurich 10, Prairie Ridge 4: Sam Warady and Trevor Staley each had hits, and Nick Jones added a single and 2 RBI for the Bears in the nonconference game.

Lake Zurich (15-8) got 5 innings from winning pitcher Jeff Kudron.

Warren 8, Jacobs 7: Ben Dinter had a homer and 3 RBI for the Blue Devils in the nonconference game.

Warren also got offensive contributions from Matt Burch (2-for-4, RBI, run) and Andrew Hill (2-for-3, 2 doubles, 2 runs). Scott Gordon pitched 4 scoreless innings for the win.
