WATERFORD, Wis. -- Authorities say 4,000 gallons of diesel fuel has spilled from a Canadian National Railway train in Racine County.

Waterford Fire Chief Richard Mueller says the train hit a piece of metal on the tracks. The debris punctured the locomotive's fuel tank, causing the spill about 10 p.m. Sunday.
