• Jeremy P. Conley, 27, of the 0-99 block of Oxford Drive, Carpentersville, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and failure to wear a seat belt after a traffic stop at 9:15 p.m. April 23 at Kings and Skyline roads near Carpentersville, according to a sheriff's report. Conley also was wanted in Kane County for failure to appear in court. The driver, Juldrine E. McAroy, 32, of the 0-99 block of Oxford, was cited for speeding and an expired registration, the report said. Deputies smelled an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, according to the police report.
• A mailbox on the 7N200 block of North Stevens Road near St. Charles was broken between Thursday and 11:45 a.m. Saturday, causing $150 damage, according to a sheriff's report.
• A license plate was stolen from a utility trailer on the 34W700 block of Villa Maria Road near St. Charles between March 15 and April 18, according to a sheriff's report.
