2014 Lake County Master Gardeners Plant Sale

Are you looking for high quality plants for your garden? The University of Illinois Master Gardeners in Lake County will be holding a plant sale on Saturday, May 17 from 9am-3pm. Our favorite perennials are dug and potted for you from the homes of Master Gardeners. Home grown vegetable plants will be available, too. The sale will be held, rain or shine, on the front lawn at the Extension Office located at 100 S. Highway 45 in Grayslake. Expect great prices on a large variety of special plants. Arrive early for the best selection! There will be plenty of parking. Cash and check only.

Master Gardeners will be available on site to answer your questions about plants, gardening and lawn care.

Bring plant samples if you need help with identification and disease.

Under the Garden Treasures tent you will find tools, garden books, containers, yard art and more.

New this year is Master Gardeners 10 minute University. These are presentations by Master

Gardeners one per hour at 10am, 11am, noon and 1pm. Subjects include winter damage, worm composting, emerald ash borer and native plants
