Crystal Lake South 8, Jacobs 5: The Gators jumped to a 4-0, first-inning lead and went on to hand Jacobs its first loss in the Fox Valley Conference. Casey Oliver went 3-for-3 with a double, home run and 3 RBI, Dakota Siwula homered and drove in 2 runs and Ryan Hetherington doubled twice to lead the Gators offensively. Winning pitcher Michael Danca (1-2) allowed 3 runs (2 earned) on 4 hits and 5 walks and struck out three. Jacobs scored 3 runs in the seventh, but reliever Michael Avella entered, got the final out and earned the save for CL South (8-6, 5-4).

Ben Murray went 3-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Grant Kale doubled and drove in 2 runs for the Golden Eagles. Ryan Sargent took the loss for Jacobs (14-7, 8-1)

McHenry 9, Dundee-Crown 8, 9 inn.: McHenry scored 4 runs in the bottom of the seventh to send the game to extra innings, and sophomore Nick Lahrman belted a solo home run with two outs in the bottom of the ninth to lift the Warriors in this Fox Valley Conference Valley Division tilt. Brett Johnson went 3-for-5 with a double, triple and 2 RBI, and reliever Chase Bloch took the loss for Dundee-Crown (9-8, 6-2).

Huntley 4, Prairie Ridge 3: Starting pitcher Adam Kalish allowed a run in the seventh inning, but reliever Mason Martin induced a line drive to right field with the tying run on first base to end the game. Kalish held the Wolves to 3 runs (1 earned) on 6 hits and a walk and struck out two. Huntley (12-4-1, 6-2) totaled more errors (5) than hits (4), but the Red Raiders scored 4 unearned runs of their own with the help of 3 Prairie Ridge errors.

Woodstock 9, Hampshire 8: The Whip-Purs jumped to an 8-2 lead, but Woodstock rallied to send the game to extra innings and won it in the bottom of the ninth on a wild pitch with the bases loaded and no outs. RJ Consigny went 4-for-5, and Alex Crinigan took the loss for Hampshire (5-11, 1-8).

Larkin 12, East Aurora 0, 5 inn.: Larkin scored 8 runs in the first and cruised in the Upstate Eight River. Jack McCracken went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, and pitcher Will King held the Tomcats to 2 hits to earn the win for Larkin (6-9, 2-4).

St. Edward 16, Walther Christian 0: The Green Wave 18-hit attack was led by Michael Castoro (3-for-3, RBI), Jack Tierney (2-for-2, HR, 3 RBI) and Ryan Nudd (2-for-2, 3B, 2 RBI) in a Suburban Christian blowout. Nick Bouley pitched 3 innings of 1-hit ball with 3 strikeouts to qualify as the winning pitcher for St. Edward (4-12-1, 3-5).
