Girls soccer/Fox Valley roundup

Kendra Videckis put her fingerprints all over Bartlett's 5-3 nonconference girls soccer win over Trinity Thursday night.

The Marquette recruit scored 4 goals, including a first-half hat trick, and added an assist to the win.

Sarah Jurek scored once and assisted twice for the Hawks, while Amanda Lozada had 2 saves and Tessa Jatczak had 5 saves in the second half.

St. Edward 7, Chicago Christian 0: Chelsea Gnan tallied a hat trick in a dominant Suburban Christian win for the Green Wave (9-2, 4-0). Allison Kruk scored twice, Monica Ramirez managed 1 goal and 3 assists and Alex Zeller notched 1 goal and 2 assists. Paige Dykstra had 3 saves in the cage.

Crystal Lake South 4, Dundee-Crown 0: The Gators (7-2-1, 2-0) dominated play with 4 different goal scorers in a Fox Valley Conference Valley Division win over the Chargers (2-4-3, 0-1). Alex Siavelis, Bree Marshall, Jess Schoenfeldt and Alex Romano registered goals while Kimmy Sulikowski had 2 assists. Taylor Mraz and Katherine Siavelis each had 1 assist. Goalkeeper Jacklyn Przybylski stopped 2 D-C shots while Isabel Miranda made 7 saves for the Chargers.

Elgin 2, Marengo 0: Gabi Delgado accounted for both assists in the Maroons' nonconference shutout. Jenny Lopez and Nancy Garcia were Elgin's goal scorers in the first half. Hannah Demel and Hannah Erickson combined for 5 saves in net to help give Elgin (5-3) its third-straight win.

Harvest Christian 5, Keith Country Day 0: Morgan Lockwood pulled off a hat trick of goals all in the first half and Ellie Burzlaff did the same with in the assist department of a Northeastern Athletic Conference win for the Lions (6-1, 3-0). Rachel Oostdyk also had 1 goal and 1 assist while Lilli Abbatacola notched an assist. Keeper Sydney Doby scored once and stopped 3 shots.

Prairie Ridge 1, Cary-Grove 0: The Trojans (6-5-1, 0-2) were held scoreless and dropped an FVC Valley tilt to the Wolves on penalty kicks.
