Report: Unconscious man found near tracks in Glencoe

Metra trains on the Union Pacific North Line are being canceled or delayed after a man was discovered lying near the side of the tracks in Glencoe, according to an ABC 7 Chicago report.

The man was taken to an Evanston hospital for surgery, ABC 7 Chicago is reporting.

Metra officials said the person does not appear to have been hit by a train, but the rail service is halting trains while police and fire officials investigate the scene.

Trains 313, 317, 324 and 332 were canceled due to the investigation. Delays of up to 35 minutes are being reported on the rest of the line.
