Hawthorn Woods Welcomes Dogs to Bark in the Park Event

HAWTHORN WOODS - Dogs are welcome to gather with family and friends at Community Park in Hawthorn Woods for the Inaugural Village of Hawthorn Woods Bark in the Park event. This free community event will take place on Saturday, April 26 from 10:00am - Noon. Dogs can run, jump, roll over and play with other friends. Your canine friend will enjoy treats, pampering, fun activities and more by our vendors and contributors including Girl Scout Troop 40002, Save-A-Pet, Pet Supplies Plus, Oak View Pet Resort, DogStyle Inc, Lake Zurich Animal Hospital, Howley Street Pet Boutique, Bentley's Corner Barkery, and more. Activities and services included at the event include micro-chipping, an off-leash area, training demonstrations and tips, grooming and boarding information, dog cookies, gift items, and so much more.

Community Park is located at the corner of Old McHenry and Quentin roads in Hawthorn Woods. Please leash all dogs. For questions about the event or inquiries about being a vendor, please contact the Recreation Department at Village Hall (847) 438-5500.
