Carmel Catholic High School's Fine Arts Department presents its spring musical, "Guys and Dolls," based on the story by Damon Runyon. Performance dates are: 7 p.m., Friday, April 25; 2 and 7 p.m., Saturday, April 26; and 2 p.m., Sunday, April 27, at the school 1 Carmel Parkway (off Route 176), Mundelein. More than 80 cast and crew members are part of the production and have been working since December to design the sets and prepare the costumes. "Guys and Dolls" takes place in the hustle and bustle of New York City in the 1950s, and the romantic tale introduces the audience to a cast of vivid characters.
