Sketches released in Arlington Hts. theft

Arlington Heights Police have released sketches in an attempt to find two women who conned an elderly woman out of $12,000 last month.

According to police, on March 28 an 88-year-old woman was approached by two women while in the parking lot at Jewel, 400 E. Rand Road, and had a conversation regarding a "found wallet."

The two women convinced the elderly victim to withdraw $12,000 in cash from her personal checking account and give it to the women.

One of the women who police said referred to herself as "Rachel" is described as white, in her late 60s, about 5'6" with a medium build and having short black hair.

Another woman who police said referred to herself as "Susan" is described as white, in her 60s, 5'5" and heavy set with a wound above her right eye.

Police have no vehicle information or video surveillance to help solve the case.
