Shuttle bus catches fire

A shuttle bus caught fire inside a building Thursday night in an industrial area near Rosemont, authorities said.

Firefighters from Rosemont, Schiller Park and Chicago responded about 9 p.m. to the business on the 9700 block of Foster Avenue, located south of Balmoral Avenue and west of the Tri-State Tollway.

Crews extinguished the fire in the bus and were able to contain the blaze so that it didn't spread to the building, according to an official at the Schiller Park Fire Department.

Only smoke damage was reported to the building.

No injuries were reported.
