Hampshire 11, Woodstock North 0: Haley Widmayer pitched a 5-inning no-hitter in a Fox Valley Conference Fox Division win. She allowed just 3 walks and struck out 8 in the process. The Hampshire (7-5, 2-0) offense pounded out 9 runs in the first inning and totaled 14 hits, including 3 each from Sara Finn and Peyton DeChant (2 RBI), who both tripled. Becca Hurst went 2-for-2 with an RBI and Widmayer went 1-for-3 at the plate with 3 RBI. Aly Snider, Ellie Lapi and Brittany Sujet each doubled for the Whip-Purs.

McHenry 11, Cary-Grove 2: McHenry jumped out to a 6-run third inning lead and never trailed in a commanding FVC Valley win. The Trojans (5-3, 1-1) strung out 9 hits as Amy Clemment went 3-for-4 (RBI) and Jamie Deering and Grace Pilz added 2 hits each.

Prairie Ridge 13, Huntley 3: The Wolves taxed Huntley (4-5, 0-1) with a 7-spot in the third and the Red Raiders' (4-5, 0-1) offense couldn't muster more than 1 run in a 6-inning FVC Valley loss. Haley Spannraft went 2-for-3 with a homer and 2 RBI for Huntley. Spannraft was charged with the loss.

Elgin 8, South Elgin 3: Kelly Bremer went 4-for-5 with a homer and 5 RBI to help keep the Maroons (5-5, 3-0) undefeated in the Upstate Eight Conference. Bremer's 9-consecutive hit streak was snapped in the seventh inning on a fly out to left. Jennah Perryman (3-1) turned in a complete game allowing 3 runs, 4 hits and 4 walks while striking out 11. She also had a 2-run homer and 2 RBI. Anna Eckholm (double) and Sabrina Stockman each belted out 2 hits. Sam Helton had 2 RBI for South Elgin (5-5, 1-3).

Neuqua Valley 15, Streamwood 0: Despite Jessica Daley, Kaitlyn Hedger and Melissa Malcolm each getting 1 hit, the Sabres (1-4, 1-3) could not survive a flurry of runs scored in a 5-inning Upstate Eight Conference thrashing. The Sabres were outhit 14-3 and Neuqua broke it open with an 8-run third inning.

West Chicago 13, Larkin 0: Holly Zdroik and Jordan Dick each had 1 hit for the Royals, but West Chicago scored 8 in the first for the Upstate Eight Conference win.

Montini 11, St. Edward 1: Lindsay Zdroik (2-for-2) had a home run for the Green Wave (3-4, 2-2) in the Suburban Christian. Ryann Scully added a double. Zdroik was the losing pitcher.
