Lake Zurich, Round Lake both net victories

Danielle Ufheil and Claire Skowron each had 2 goals, as Lake Zurich's girls soccer team shut out Zion-Benton 8-0 in North Suburban Lake Division action Tuesday to improve to 4-1.

The remaining Bears goals were scored by Katie Fabbrini, Julia Kuhn, Meaghan Gelinas, who had an assist, and Jordan Jackson, who had 2 assists. Blair Coughenour had 2 assists. Eleanor Daleske got the shutout for Lake Zurich.

Round Lake 3, Woodlands Academy 2: Karen Uribe scored the first goal assisted by Michelle Hernandez in the first half. The second half was dominated by Izzy Rodriguez, who shot both goals, assisted by Hernandez and Jasmine Cruz to put the Panthers on top.

Jordan Devera got the win, making 3 saves for Round Lake.
