Original photography is also encouraged; giclees are not acceptable. Two-dimensional media and photography will be judged on originality of concept, technical expertise and emotional impact.

Each of the winning artists will be eligible for six cash prizes, cash grand prize for first and second, in each division (photography or two-dimensional media), and a Special Award of $250 will be given for a Lake County, Illinois, image.

Sponsors for prizes include the Liberty Prairie Foundation and Friends of the Lake County Discovery Museum.

Entries are being accepted until June 1. For prospectus, including deadline details and entry form, see www.lchff.org.
