AH Senior Center can help you find a job after 50

Arlington Heights Senior Center will host "So I'm Old, Now What? Age and the Job Interview" at 4 p.m. Monday, March 31.

There are four generations in the U.S. workforce and they each communicate differently. A Baby Boomer's work ethic is different from Generation X. Learn what the differences are and develop new communication strategies that will help you bridge the Generation Gap when interviewing with younger decision-makers.

Presenter Richard Oberbruner has led interactive job search workshops for the Career Stimulus program at Harper College, the Community Career Center in Naperville, and Worknet DuPage in Lisle. He combines his teaching background with Second City Theater improv techniques to make each presentation a one-of-a-kind event. Come learn new skills and enjoy yourself at the same time

Geared to the age 50 plus jobseeker, doors will open at 3:30 p.m. for informal networking and light refreshments. The program is free, but advance registration is requested. Call (847) 253-5532 to reserve a seat.
