Business principles apply to government too

This note is in response to those who feel you cannot run government as a business. I believe you folks are missing the point, which is fiscal responsibility. If you run a business in a manner that is not fiscally responsible, your business will surely be bankrupt in a short while. If you run a government without fiscal responsibility, you will continually be running a deficit budget, looking for "new sources of revenue" (i.e., new taxes) and destroying your government's credit rating. Sound familiar?
