Teachers might want to rethink their vote

It is a travesty that the teachers may lose part of their pensions. The teachers paid money into a fund that was being managed by the state legislature and should have been available as promised.

However, the state legislature took money out of the pension funds to pay for other programs and initiatives. However, the teachers made their beds because the teachers unions and the teachers themselves have consistently over the years campaigned for, voted for, and elected the very people who have been stealing the money from their funds.

They can't continue vote these same people into office and expect a different result. Perhaps it is time that they give greater thought as to which candidates and which party they should back in this election. That provides the best chance to have a change for the better.
