Fresh snow made morning commute a nightmare

Snow covered roads made the morning commute a tough one.

Multiple accidents have been reported across the suburbs, and commute times were more than double and triple in some areas.

A winter weather advisory remains in effect for the suburbs until noon today.

Accuweather.com forecasts the snow should begin to tamper off after noon. Most of the area should see 2-4 inches of the snow by the time the storm moves out of the area.

The forecast calls for a high temperature of 25 degrees today, with overnight lows around 11.

Thursday looks better, according to accuweather.com. The forecast calls for highs around 30 with partly cloudy skies.
