The eighth annual Home Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2, at the Vaughan Athletic Center, 2121 W. Indian Trail, Aurora. Residents in the Fox Valley suburbs are invited to attend this free exposition with free parking. See the latest in home remodeling and repair products and services.

The contracting trades and businesses exhibiting will be diverse, representing the latest in remodeling, repair, maintenance and other products and services. Presenting an assortment of the latest services and products including: energy efficient replacement windows and doors, the latest in vinyl siding products, high-efficiency furnaces and air conditioners, landscaping, decorative concrete, pavers and retaining walls, flooring, designer kitchens and baths, patio rooms, marble and granite, awnings, security systems, waterproofing, new roofing products, custom decorating and painting, window treatments, and more.

Homeowners and commercial property owners having plans for improvements, or needing to schedule repair projects, will see hundreds of new ideas and are encouraged to bring their plans with them. There they will meet reputable contractors in person, and have their questions answered when discussing their designs.

"This expo is a home design shopping center for the weekend," says Peggy Ruh, producer of The Home Shows, Inc. "This is the best exposition held in this area, with local contractors in a neutral environment ready to discuss your needs."

"Many tradesmen offer spring discounts - to get an early start - they're ready to schedule new work. Other exhibitors have 'Show Specials' and deals on products sold at the show," Ruh said.

Cooking demonstrations by Kitchen Craft also will run throughout the show, inviting all to taste the results of healthy cooking recipes, and pick up tips and techniques from the expert chefs. In addition, you'll find take-home extras from places like Navigator Gifts, Black Hills Adirondack and Majave Hot Sauce.
