CPA needed on McHenry County Board

It's hard to believe that there is not one CPA on the McHenry County Board, much less one with 25 years of experience. Knowing this fact, plus looking at the rest of Nancy Gonsiorek's record in our community, makes her someone we need on our county board.

From her six years working as a member of the Crystal Lake District 47 Board of Education, overseeing an $85 million budget for 12 schools, her work on the Nunda Township Planning Commission, her tireless participation on numerous nonprofit boards and her ability to run a successful small business, Nancy has proved herself to be the kind of person with the kind of skills that will make our board even stronger.

I have known her for many years and have always been impressed by her integrity, work ethic and concern about our community. Although sometimes we may have different points of view on a specific issue, she is always thoughtful and open to ideas and discussion. She is exactly the kind of person and professional needed and will serve us well as a McHenry County Board member. I, for one, will be voting for her and encourage others to do the same.
